ROME (AFP) - Real Madrid mentor Santiago Solari shielded chief Sergio Ramos on Monday (Nov 26) after cases he gave an unpredictable doping test after the Champions League last prevail upon Juventus in 2017. 

As per German magazine Der Spiegel, Ramos neglected to pronounce he had taken dexamethasone, a prohibited calming, in front of the last at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, in which Real beat Juventus 4-1. 

"Sergio Ramos is a legit man, an image of Real Madrid as well as of all Spanish football," Solari told a public interview in front of Tuesday's (Nov 27) Champions League diversion against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. 

"It's the obligation of everybody to shield him including the press whose goal is to look for reality," he said. 

"In the event that we distribute things which are not valid, the calling of news coverage loses its motivation." Ramos, 32, has rejected enemy of doping charges against him as a "lie" and a conscious endeavor to discolor his notoriety.
